Aisha Tyler (“Ghost Whisperer”) has joined the cast of indie Black Water Transit.
The film, set in post-Katrina New Orleans, centers on a man trying to free his junkie son from prison. Tyler plays a police detective.
Laurence Fishburne and Karl Urban star in the action-thriller, directed by Tony Kaye.
Tyler’s credits include The Santa Clause 3: The Great Escape and “CSI.” She’ll next be seen in Balls of Fury.
