The marketing for Spider-Man: Brand New Day has started ramping up, with social media posts showing new posters, Funko Pops, and other promotional material that have surfaced. Swinging into theaters next month, the film marks a new chapter for Tom Holland’s Peter Parker in the MCU.
Brand new Spider-Man 4 material hits the internet
Social media users have shared new Spider-Man: Brand New Day promotional material. One post features two posters showing Peter Parker posing on a reflective window pane, perfectly capturing his dual life.
Moreover, another includes two Funko Pops modeled after the wallcrawler and Hulk. One is based on the former’s tattered suit, while another is inspired by the latter’s classic, savage appearance. Furthermore, one post shows Japanese promo art of the webslinger striking his iconic pose.
Yet another post depicts a light-up Cinema standee next to a life-size replica of Spider-Man. Finally, one features a Japanese poster showing the hero going up against The Hand.
The film premieres in theaters on July 31. Destin Daniel Cretton, who previously helmed Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings and co-created Wonder Man for Disney+, directed it. Meanwhile, Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers, who co-wrote previous MCU Spider-Man films, reprised writing duties.
Set four years after No Way Home, the story sees Parker continue to protect New York City from crime while investigating a new enemy and experiencing a big change in his powers. He also struggles to cope with the fact that his loved ones, including MJ and Ned, no longer remember him and have moved on with their lives.
Tom Holland returns as the title character. Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Jon Bernthal, Michael Mando, and Mark Ruffalo reprise their roles as MJ, Ned, Frank Castle/Punisher, Mac Gargan/Scorpion, and Bruce Banner/Hulk.
Sadie Sink makes her MCU debut in an undisclosed role, widely rumored to be Jean Grey. Also appearing are Tramell Tillman as Bill, Marvin Jones III as Lonnie Lincoln/Tombstone, and Eman Esfandi as MJ’s new boyfriend.
