The 20th anniversary of Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith is right around the corner, and Regal Cinemas has shown off some of the special merch that will be available, including a new popcorn bucket.
The celebration of the third entry in the Star Wars prequel trilogy will begin next month, when the movie returns to theaters for special showings beginning on April 25, 2025. In celebration, Regal recently revealed a first look at the popcorn bucket for the movie, which is modeled after the iconic helmet of Darth Vader.
How do you get the Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith Darth Vader popcorn bucket?
Along with a standard popcorn bucket that features artwork celebrating the 20th anniversary, a special replica of Vader’s helmet that opens up as a helmet for popcorn is also available. Those looking to pick one up will likely have to visit participating theaters to do so.
There’s been no official word on pricing for the bucket just yet, but the helmet does join a long line of other popcorn buckets that have made their way to viral fame. Some of these include the Dune: Part Two bucket that essentially started the popcorn bucket trend, as well as things like Deadpool & Wolverine‘s bucket, which was a giant Wolverine head with its mouth open.
Originally released in 2005, Star Wars: Episode III — Revenge of the Sith is directed by George Lucas, and is the final film in the Star Wars prequel trilogy. The film follows the aftermath of Star Wars: Episode II — Attack of the Clones, and is set during an ongoing full-scale war the Jedis fight against the Separatists. The movie also sees the official rise of Darth Vader, as it culminates in a battle between Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi.
