The first batch of the Wuthering Heights set photos has finally arrived online, providing a first look at the Emerald Fennell‘s upcoming film adaptation of Emily Brontë’s classic 1847 novel of the same name.
The movie is scheduled to arrive in theaters on February 13, 2026, pitting it directly against Sony Pictures’ sports animated movie Goat at the box office. It will also be debuting in the same month as Neve Campbell’s Scream 7.
What do the Margot Robbie Wuthering Heights set photos show?
The set photos show off lead star Margot Robbie in a white wedding dress. Robbie will be portraying the role of Catherine Earnshaw. This marks the first time that Robbie will be starring in an Emerald Fennell-directed movie after serving as a producer on the Oscar-winning filmmaker’s first two directorial features Promising Young Woman and Saltburn. Robbie and Fennell also previously starred together in the blockbuster fantasy comedy Barbie.

The Wuthering Heights movie is being directed by Fennell from a screenplay she also wrote. The adaptation will also star Jacob Elordi as Heathcliff, Shazad Latif as Edgar Linton, Hong Chau as Nelly Dean, Alison Oliver as Isabella Linton, Owen Cooper as the young Heathcliff, Charlotte Mellington as the young Catherine, and Vy Nguyen as the young Nelly. The project is produced by Robbie, Tom Ackerley, and Josey McNamara for LuckyChap Entertainment.
The original novel follows two families — the Earnshaws and the Lintons — and their relationships over the course of several years. Since its release in the mid-1800s, Wuthering Heights has been widely considered one of the greatest novels ever written. The book has been adapted into film a number of times around the world since 1920, including in Robert Fuest’s 1970 version starring Timothy Dalton, Peter Kominsky’s 1992 version starring Juliette Binoche and Ralph Fiennes, and Andrea Arnold’s 2011 version starring Kaya Scodelario.
