The first look at the late Tony Todd in Final Destination Bloodlines has been revealed. 

Final Destination Bloodlines will mark the late actor’s return to the franchise, as well as his final movie role before his death at the age of 69 on November 6, 2024. 

What does the Final Destination Bloodlines photo of Tony Todd show?

The first look photo of Todd shows him in his final on-screen role. The upcoming supernatural horror film, which will serve as the horror franchise’s sixth installment, will see Todd reprising his role as William Bludworth. 

The actor first played the character in 2000 and went on to appear in succeeding Final Destination installments, including Final Destination 2 (2003), Final Destination 3 (2006), and Final Destination 5 (2011). You can check out the first look photo down below:

Hailed as a horror legend for his portrayal of Daniel Robitaille in the Candyman film series (including the 1992 Candyman feature, Candyman: Farewell to the Flesh in 1995, Candyman 3: Day of the Dead in 1999, and the 2021 direct sequel), Todd is also known for his starring roles in The Man from Earth, Night of the Living Dead, The Rock, Platoon, Hatchet, Hell Fest, and more. 

Final Destination Bloodlines, based on characters created by Jeffrey Reddick, also stars Kaitlyn Santa Juana, Teo Briones, Richard Harmon, Owen Patrick Joyner, Rya Kihlstedt, Anna Lore, and Brec Bassinger. 

“Plagued by a violent recurring nightmare, college student Stefanie heads home to track down the one person who might be able to break the cycle and save her family from the grisly demise that inevitably awaits them all,” the logline reads. 

The film is directed by Adam Stein & Zach Lipovsky. It is written by Guy Busick and Lori Evans Taylor, based on a story by Jon Watts, Busick, and Taylor.

Final Destination Bloodlines is set to hit theaters on May 16.
