Bong Joon Ho’s Mickey 17 underperformed at the United States box office this past weekend, while Anora found its way back into the top 10 after winning Best Picture at the 97th Academy Awards.
Mickey 17, which stars Robert Pattinson, made approximately $19.1 at the domestic box office during its first week of release. While those aren’t terrible numbers, the movie reportedly had around a $118 million budget, meaning that, with its worldwide total now sitting at $53.3 million, it still has a ways to go before it breaks even.
Sean Baker’s Anora, meanwhile, returned to a number of theaters and grossed an additional $1.86 million after winning big at the Oscars last weekend, while newcomers Rule Breakers and In The Lost Lands came in ninth and tenth, per Deadline.
