Two new actors are set to join Robert De Niro in The Whisper Man.
The Whisper Man is a forthcoming Netflix movie based on Alex North’s 2019 novel of the same name. The film is being directed by James Ashcroft, while the script comes from Ben Jacoby and Chase Palmer.
Who has joined the cast of The Whisper Man?
Adam Scott and Michelle Monaghan have both been cast in The Whisper Man, per Deadline.
Scott plays Mark Scout in Apple TV+’s Severance. He’s also known for playing Ben Wyatt in NBC’s Parks and Recreation, among a number of other television roles, while his filmography includes 2004’s Torque, 2008’s Step Brothers, 2013’s The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, 2015’s Krampus, 2017’s Little Evil, 2024’s Madame Web, and more.
Monaghan, meanwhile, can currently be seen playing Jaclyn Lemon in HBO’s The White Lotus Season 3. She portrayed Maggie Hart in the first season of True Detective and stars as Julia Meade in the Mission: Impossible franchise, while she’s also been in movies such as 2004’s The Bourne Supremacy, 2005’s Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, 2007’s Gone Baby Gone, 2011’s Source Code, 2016’s Patriots Day, 2020’s The Craft: Legacy, 2023’s The Family Plan, and 2024’s MaXXXine.
The Whisper Man is produced by Anthony Russo, Joe Russo, Angela Russo-Otstot, and Michael Disco.

A description of the movie reads, “When his 8-year-old son is abducted, a widowed crime writer looks to his estranged father, a retired former police detective, for help, only to discover a connection with the decades-old case of a convicted serial killer known as The Whisper Man.”
A release date for The Whisper Man has not yet been announced.
