Pamela Bach Passes Away, David Hasselhoff’s Ex-Wife Was 62

Pamela Bach, David Hasselhoff’s ex-wife, has passed away at the age of 62, according to confirmation from Hasselhoff’s family and a report from TMZ.

According to TMZ’s initial report, Bach was found in her home on Wednesday night after family members went to her home after not hearing from her. The report mentions that paramedics were quickly called, and Bach was pronounced dead at the scene with a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.

In a statement shared with People, a representative for Hasselhoff relayed their sadness over the event, with the star requesting privacy during this time.

“Our family is deeply saddened by the recent passing of Pamela Hasselhoff,” said Hasselhoff’s representative. “We are grateful for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time but we kindly request privacy as we grieve and navigate through this challenging time.”

Pamela and Hasselhoff met on the set of Knight Rider, when the actress guest starred on the series in 1985. Bach would later go on to appear in several episodes of Baywatch along Hasselhoff, too. The pair married in December 1989, and stayed married for 17 years, before divorcing in January 2006. Together, they have two children, Taylor, 34, and Hayley, 32.

Outside of her relationship with Hasselhoff, Bach was also an accomplished actress, appearing in several films throughout the 1980s. In 2011, she also appeared on the UK reality show Celebrity Big Brother 8, which was one of her last official acting jobs.

ComingSoon extends its condolences to the family and friends of Bach.
