The Oscars 2025 “In Memoriam” segment honored several of the Hollywood legends who passed away in the year, but fans online were upset to find two major names missing from the ceremony.
The “In Memoriam” segment featured several icons who passed away in the world of Hollywood, including the late David Lynch, James Earl Jones, and more. However, fans online were quick to note that Michelle Trachtenberg and Tony Todd were surprisingly omitted from the montage shown on the broadcast.
In various social media posts on the matter, fans expressed shock and disgust at the omissions, especially due to how prominent both actors were. Trachtenberg passed away on February 26, 2025, at the age of 39, Todd passed away on November 6, 2024, at the age of 69, after a battle with cancer.
