Taking to social media, Sarah Michelle Gellar — who starred in Buffy the Vampire Slayer along Trachtenberg — shared a series of photos of the pair, including one with actress Shannen Doherty, who passed away last year.
Blake Lively, who starred alongside Trachtenberg in the hit series Gossip Girl, shared a photo of the pair from the show along with a lengthy message about the late actress. Lively called Trachtenberg “a kind person, through and through,” praising her for always being kind and herself at all times.
Other stars that worked with Trachtenberg, including Buffy the Vampire Slayer co-stars James Marsters, Alyson Hannigan, and Clare Kramer, also took to social media to share tributes to the actress.
According to reports on Trachtenberg’s passing, the actress was found by her mother on Wednesday in her New York City apartment. The actress did recently undergo a liver transplant, according to ABC News, but no official cause of death has been disclosed as of yet.
