The first official Masters of the Universe first-look photo is out, previewing Nicholas Galitzine wielding the iconic Power Sword.
The new image comes from Mattel and Amazon MGM Studios. While it doesn’t show Galitzine in his full Prince Adam/He-Man outfit, it does show off a highly detailed look at the Power Sword, as well as giving a small look at what Galitzine’s outfit will look like in the upcoming movie.
Masters of the Universe will be released in United States theaters on June 5, 2026.

What do we know about the Masters of the Universe live-action movie?
The Masters of the Universe live-action cast is led by Nicholas Galitzine, who will play Prince Adam/He-Man, Jared Leto as Skeletor, Alison Brie as Evil-Lyn, Morena Baccarin as The Sorceress, Camila Mendes as Teela, Idris Elba as Duncan/Man-at-Arms, James Purefoy as King Randor, Charlotte Riley as Queen Marlena, Jóhannes Haukur Jóhannesson as Malcolm/Fisto, Sam C. Wilson as Trap Jaw, Hafthor Bjornsson as Goat Man, and Kojo Attah as Tri-Klops.
Other cast members for the film include recently announced Jon Xue Zhang as Ram-Man, Sasheer Zamata as Suzie, and Christian Vunipola as Hussein.
Plot details for Masters of the Universe remain under wraps at this time. The script comes from Chris Butler, while David Callaham, Aaron Nee, and Adam Nee worked on the initial draft.
