Michelle Williams & Daisy Edgar-Jones to Lead Thriller Movie A Place in Hell

Oscar nominee Michelle Williams (My Week with Marilyn) and Golden Globe nominee Daisy Edgar-Jones (Normal People) have officially signed on for the leading roles in the forthcoming thriller drama titled, A Place in Hell. The story will center around two women working at a high-profile criminal law firm.

Who is involved in A Place in Hell?

A Place in Hell will be written and directed by Chloe Domont, who’s best known for her work on Netflix’s 2023 erotic thriller movie Fair Play which starred Phoebe Dynevor and Alden Ehrenreich. The project will be produced by MRC and T-Street. It currently has no distributor yet, but it will reportedly hit the market in the coming weeks.

Williams’ most recent acting project was Steven Spielberg’s 2022 coming-of-age drama The Fabelmans. At the moment, she is currently attached to star in the musical drama movie Fever, which hails from Carol and May December director Todd Haynes. Williams will also be starring opposite Jenny Slate in the upcoming FX limited drama series Dying for Sex.

As for Edgar-Jones, she starred with Glen Powell in last year’s disaster movie Twisters, which served as the standalone sequel to the classic 1996 movie. She will next be seen in Sony Pictures Classics’ period romance drama On Swift Horses, based on Shannon Pufahl’s 2019 novel of the same name. The movie will also star Jacob Elordi, Will Poulter, Diego Calva, and Sasha Calle. In addition, Edgar-Jones is also set to reunite with Under the Banner of Heaven co-star Andrew Garfield in the upcoming romance movie Voyagers from director Sebastián Lelio.
