Paramount Pictures has announced the Sonic the Hedgehog 3 Paramount+ release date for the streaming debut of the latest installment to the blockbuster action comedy film franchise. This comes after nearly two months since the film had made its theatrical release.
“Sonic the Hedgehog returns to the big screen this holiday season in his most thrilling adventure yet. Sonic, Knuckles, and Tails reunite against a powerful new adversary, Shadow, a mysterious villain with powers unlike anything they have faced before,” reads the official synopsis. “With their abilities outmatched in every way, Team Sonic must seek out an unlikely alliance in hopes of stopping Shadow and protecting the planet.”

Sonic the Hedgehog 3 will be available for streaming starting tomorrow, February 18, exclusively on Paramount+. During its theatrical run, the third installment received a worldwide gross of over $478 million at the box office. It currently holds a Certified Fresh rating of 85% on Rotten Tomatoes.
The film was directed by Jeff Fowler from a screenplay written by Pat Casey and Josh Miller. The ensemble cast includes Ben Schwartz as Sonic the Hedgehog, Keanu Reeves as Shadow the Hedgehog, Colleen O’Shaughnessey as Tails, Idris Elba as Knuckles, James Marsden as Tom, Tika Sumpter as Maddie, Jim Carrey as Dr. Robotnik, Alyla Brown as Maria, Krysten Ritter, Sofia Pernas, Cristo Fernández, James Wolk, and more.
