The first look photo and the release date window for Home Sweet Home: Rebirth have been revealed.
Home Sweet Home: Rebirth is based on YGGDrazil’s Thai survival horror video game, Home Sweet Home, which has become a breakout hit on both YouTube and Twitch. The film adaptation hails from directors Alexander Kiesl and Steffen Hacker. It is set for release this April.
Who stars in Home Sweet Home: Rebirth?
The upcoming supernatural horror movie stars Michele Morrone, who will be playing the character named Mek. He is best known for his roles in Subservience, The Trial, 365 Days, 365 Days: This Day, and The Next 365 Days. He is also set to star in Paul Feig’s A Simple Favor sequel, Another Simple Favor, as well as the director’s upcoming psychological thriller The Housemaid opposite Sydney Sweeney and Amanda Seyfried.
Other stars who have joined Morrone in Home Sweet Home: Rebirth are William Moseley (The Chronicles of Narnia film series, The Royals) as Jake, Thai-Norwegian actress Yaya Urassaya Sperbund (My Cherie Amour, Love You to Debt) as Prang, and South Korean actor and singer Alexander Lee (3 Peas in a Pod, Moorim School: Saga of the Brave) as Novice Monk.

“Home Sweet Home Rebirth follows Jake (Moseley), a cop thrust into an alternate realm called ‘The Hindrance’ during a deadly mall shooting. With the help of a mysterious Novice Monk (Lee), Jake must race the clock to save his wife, Prang (Sperbund), and stop an evil occultist, Mek (Morrone), from opening the Gates of Hell,” the synopsis reads.
The film is produced by Dean Altit and Pakin Maliwan. Executive producers are Tanat Juwiwat, Saroot Tubloy, Richard Alan Reid, Kia Jam, and Diamond Media.
The exact release date for Home Sweet Home Rebirth has yet to be announced.
