Miles Teller hopes The Fantastic Four: First Steps does well at the box office

Miles Teller recently extended his best wishes to the team of the 2025 superhero film The Fantastic Four: First Steps, saying that he wants it to do well in theaters.

The actor had a chat with The Hollywood Reporter during the premiere of The Gorge in Los Angeles. Teller stated he doesn’t want the same fate as his 2015 movie for the new movie. Teller told the outlet, “I’ve known Pedro for a couple of years, man I’m wishing them all the best. I don’t wish anybody to be a part of a bomb, it’s just a marker on your career that for some people takes longer to get over than others. I just wish them the best.”

Teller also disclosed that he was impressed after watching the first teaser trailer of The Fantastic Four: First Steps. He added, “It looked fantastic, I’m very excited for them.”

Miles Teller played Mr Fantastic, AKA Reed Richards in the 2015 Fantastic Four reboot. He starred alongside Kate Mara as Susan Storm, Michael B. Jordan as Johnny Storm, and Jamie Bell as Ben Grimm. The movie was made on a budget of $120 million. However, it only made around $167 million at the box office, as per Box Office Mojo.

Furthermore, according to THR, the terrible box office performance of the movie led to producers canceling its sequel.
