Universal’s Dog Man took the number one spot at the domestic box office for the second weekend in a row.
Dog Man made an additional $13.7 million this past weekend at the domestic box office. That’s a -62 percent drop from its first weekend; however, it still took the number one spot and has made over $50 million in the United States alone.
Per Deadline, Josh Ruben’s romantic slasher movie Heart Eyes took the second spot with $8.5 million. It beat out the new action movie, Love Hurts, starring Ke Huy Quan and Ariana DeBose, which made $5.8 million.
Mufasa: The Lion King took the fourth spot in its eighth week of release, followed by Companion. The Becoming Led Zeppelin documentary also cracked the top ten at number seven, making $2.62 million.
