Sienna Miller has joined the cast of Amazon MGM Studios’ Jack Ryan movie.
It was announced in October 2024 that A Quiet Place director John Krasinski will reprise his role as Jack Ryan in a new movie that will serve as a sequel to the Prime Video series. The show ran for four seasons and is ranked as one of the streamer’s top-three most watched series.
Now, per The Hollywood Reporter, Sienna Miller has joined the cast of the movie. She will be playing an MI6 agent in the film.
Miller recently played Frances Kittredge in Kevin Costner’s Horizon: An American Saga — Chapter 1. Her filmography also includes 2007’s Stardust, 2009’s G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, 2014’s American Sniper, 2015’s Burnt, 2019’s 21 Bridges, and more, while she’s starred in television series such as Anatomy of a Scandal, Chivalry, and Curb Your Enthusiasm.

The Jack Ryan movie is being directed by Andrew Bernstein, who was an executive producer and director on Jack Ryan Season 2. The script was written by Aaron Rabin.
The movie will see Wendell Pierce and Michael Kelly reprise their respective roles as James Greer and Mike November from the Prime Video series.
Plot details are being kept under wraps at this time. The movie is being produced through Paramount Pictures and Skydance. David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, John Kelly, and Carlton Cuse will serve as executive producers.
It’s not immediately clear if the Jack Ryan movie will receive a theatrical release or if it is being made for Prime Video. A release date for the Jack Ryan movie has not yet been set.
All four seasons of the Jack Ryan television series, meanwhile, are available to stream on Amazon Prime Video.
