NEON has set a summer release date for the Tom Hiddleston-led sci-fi drama The Life of Chuck.
The Life of Chuck is based on Stephen King’s novella of the same name, which is featured in the author’s If It Bleeds collection. The film is written and directed by Mike Flanagan, a renowned filmmaker known for his work in the horror genre including in Gerald’s Game, Hush, The Haunting of Hill House, and Midnight Mass.
When is the release date for The Life of Chuck?
The Life of Chuck, which recently took home the Audience Prize at the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival, will hit theaters on May 30, 2025. From the title itself, the film will center around Charles “Chuck” Krantz (played by Hiddleston), whose life will be told in reverse.
In addition to the Loki actor, the ensemble cast includes Chiwetel Ejiofor (12 Years a Slave), Karen Gillan (Guardians of the Galaxy), Mark Hamill (Star Wars), Matthew Lillard (Five Nights at Freddy’s), and Heather Langenkamp (A Nightmare on Elm Street), with Jacob Tremblay (Before I Wake), Benjamin Pajak, and Cody Flanagan as Chuck in different stages of his life.
Rounding out the cast are Harvey Guillen (What We Do in the Shadows), David Dastmalchian (Late Night with the Devil), Kate Siegel (Oculus), Violet McGraw (M3GAN), Mia Sara (Dorothy and the Witches of Oz), Trinity Jo-li Bliss (Avatar: The Way of Water), Q’Orianka Kilcher (The Power of Few), Antonio Raul Corbo (Pilgrim), Carl Lumbly (Doctor Sleep), Annalise Basso (Ouija: Origin of Evil), Samantha Sloyan (The Midnight Club), Rahul Kohli (The Haunting of Bly Manor), Matt Biedel (Phoenix Forgotten), Sauriyan Sapkota (The Fall of the House of Usher), Saidah Arrika Ekulona (Bob Hearts Abishola), Michael Trucco (Fairly Legal), and Molly C. Quinn (We’re the Millers).
The Life of Chuck hits theaters on May 30.
