Who else is in the Stitches cast?
Alongside Rumpf and Garrel, Variety also reports that Anyier Anei, Garace Marillier, and Finnegan Oldfield have also been added to the cast. Rumpf and Garrel are being called co-stars to Jolie, who still star in the upcoming project as Maxine, a woman who arrives in Paris for Fashion Week and goes on a journey.
Rumpf is best known for her role in the 2016 film Raw, while Garrel is best known for his starring role in 2003 erotic romance drama The Dreamers.
Other casting information is not available as of now. Not much is known about the plot for Stitches; though Variety reports that it is “set in the world of high fashion and unfolds in Paris.” Jolie is playing a filmmaker who is “one of three women whose lives will collide during Fashion Week.”
Production on Stitches is expected to begin next year and the movie will be shot in both French and English. CG Cinema is producing the movie in partnership with Zhang Xin and William Horberg of Closer Media.
Winocour is known for making 2019’s Proxima, which starred Eva Green, Matt Dillon, Zélie Boulant-Lemesle, Sandra Hüller, and Lars Eidinger. Her 2012 movie Augstine, which was Winocour’s feature film directorial debut, was nominated for the Caméra d’Or at the Cannes Film Festival, while her filmography also includes 2015’s Disorder and 2022’s Paris Memories.
A release date has not yet been announced for Stitches.
