A new look at The Fantastic Four: First Steps’ H.E.R.B.I.E., which stands for Humanoid Experimental Robot B-Type Integrated Electronics, has been unveiled at New York Comic Con.
The Fantastic Four: First Steps is scheduled to be released in United States theaters in July 2025. The film will formally introduce H.E.R.B.I.E. — who was created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby and was originally introduced in a 1978 episode of The New Fantastic Four before the character made their official comics debut in 1979’s Fantastic Four #209 — into the MCU.
The Marvel Studios booth at the 2024 New York Comic Con features a mural filled with characters from recent and upcoming projects created by the studio. Along with Kathryn Hahn’s Agatha Harkness and Harrison Ford’s Red Hulk, the mural features a new look at H.E.R.B.I.E., who appears inside the “A” of “MARVEL.”
What will H.E.R.B.I.E. look like in the MCU’s The Fantastic Four: First Steps?
