What happens in the Bird trailer?
The Bird trailer introduces the movie’s 12-year-old lead character, Bailey (Adams), dealing with her situation living with a tumultuous father named Bug (Keoghan), who does not seem like a good father figure. She then meets a nomad named Bird (Rogowski), who would help her gain a different outlook on life.
Bird is set to hit theaters in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and Ireland on November 8, 2024. You can watch the trailer for Bird down below (watch more trailers):
Per the synopsis (via TIFF), Bird is “a story about a distracted father and his lonely and imaginative 12-year-old daughter, Bailey, who must seek attention (and adventure) elsewhere.”
It added, “When Bug informs her that he’ll be marrying his new girlfriend soon, Bailey is furious and hurt, for what will become of her? Her mother lives with a violent, cruel man, and while Bug sports a ferocious love for his daughter, he can be oblivious to the needs of a fledgling teenage girl.”
It also stars Jason Buda as Hunter, Jasmine Jobson (Top Boy) as Peyton, James Nelson-Joyce (Little Boy Blue) as Skate, Frankie Box as Kailey, Joanne Matthews as Debs, and Sarah Beth Harber.
The film, which had its world premiere at the 77th Cannes Film Festival earlier this year, currently holds a 75% critics score on Rotten Tomatoes.
Bird will hit theaters on November 8.
