In celebration of its 10th Anniversary, Paramount Pictures has announced the Interstellar 4K Collector’s Edition release date of Christopher Nolan‘s acclaimed sci-fi epic starring Oscar winners Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway, and Jessica Chastain.
“A team of pioneers undertakes the most important mission in human history—to discover whether mankind has a future among the stars. Oscar®-winner Matthew McConaughey stars as the ex-pilot turned farmer who is forced to leave his family and a foundering Earth behind to lead an expedition traveling beyond this galaxy,” reads the synopsis.
When is the Interstellar 4K Collector’s Edition release date?
Interstellar will be available to purchase on physical media in both 4K UHD and Blu-ray formats. The Collector’s Edition will be released starting on December 10, 2024. Prior to the Collector’s Edition’s release, the award-winning movie will also be heading back to theaters on December 6 for an IMAX exclusive limited engagement.
The 2014 movie was directed by Nolan, who co-wrote the screenplay with brother Jonathan Nolan. The ensemble cast also included Ellen Burstyn, Mackenzie Foy, John Lithgow, Michael Caine, Casey Affleck, Timothée Chalamet, Matt Damon, Wes Bentley, Topher Grace, and more. In addition to receiving positive reviews during its theatrical run, the film also earned a worldwide gross of over $705 million at the box office.
