Borderlands 4K, Blu-ray, & DVD Release Date for Lionsgate’s Live-Action Movie

Lionsgate has announced the Borderlands 4K, Blu-ray, DVD and digital release date for its Eli Roth’s latest sci-fi action comedy starring Cate Blanchett as outlaw Lilith.

“Lilith, an infamous bounty hunter with a mysterious past, reluctantly returns to her home, Pandora, the most chaotic planet in the galaxy. Her mission is to find the missing daughter of Atlas, the universe’s most powerful S.O.B,” reads the film’s synopsis. “Lilith forms an unexpected alliance with a ragtag team of misfits – Roland, a seasoned mercenary on a mission; Tiny Tina, a feral pre-teen demolitionist; Krieg, Tina’s musclebound protector; Tannis, the oddball scientist who’s seen it all; and Claptrap, a wiseass robot. Together, these unlikely heroes must battle an alien species and dangerous bandits to uncover one of Pandora’s most explosive secrets. The fate of the universe could be in their hands – but they’ll be fighting for something more: each other.”

When is the Borderlands 4K, Blu-ray, & DVD release date?

Borderlands will be available to purchase on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD starting on October 22. The film will also arrive on Electric Sell-Through on October 8, followed by its VOD release on October 29. In addition, Amazon and Walmart will also be releasing an exclusive SteelBook, which features a new key art.

The film was directed by Eli Roth from a screenplay he co-wrote with Joe Crombie. The star-studded ensemble cast includes Kevin Hart as Roland, Jamie Lee Curtis as Tannis, Jack Black as Claptrap, Ariana Greenblatt as Tiny Tina, Florian Munteanu as Krieg, Benjamin Byron Davis as Marcus, Gina Gershon as Moxxi, Janina Gavankar as Commander Knoxx, Olivier Richters as Krum, Edgar Ramirez as Atlas, Bobby Lee as Gary and more. It was produced by Avi Arad and Erik Feig, with Randy Pitchford and Zelnick executive producing.
