A Hulu streaming release date has been set for Kinds of Kindness.
Directed by Yorgos Lanthimos, Kinds of Kindness was released in United States theaters in June 2024. The anthology absurdist comedy movie stars Emma Stone, Jesse Plemons, Willem Dafoe, and more.
When will Kinds of Kindness be streaming on Hulu?
Hulu has now announced that Searchlights Pictures’ Kinds of Kindness will be available to stream on the streaming platform on August 30, 2024. It will also be available to stream via Hulu on Disney+ for Bundle subscribers.
“Kinds of Kindness is a triptych fable following a man without choice who tries to take control of his own life, a policeman who is alarmed that his wife who was missing-at-sea has returned and seems a different person, and a woman determined to find a specific someone with a special ability who is destined to become a prodigious spiritual leader,” the synopsis for the movie reads.

The film is co-written by Lanthimos and Efthimis Filippou. Lanthimos also produces the movie alongside Ed Guiney, Andrew Lowe, and Kasia Malipan. Margaret Qualley, Hong Chau, Joe Alwyn, Mamoudou Athie, and Hunter Schafer star in Kinds of Kindness alongside Stone, Plemons, and Dafoe.
Kinds of Kindness held its world premiere at the 77th Cannes Film Festival in May 2024. Plemons won the Best Actor award for his performance at the festival.
Prior to Kinds of Kindness, Lanthimos made 2009’s Dogtooth, 2015’s The Lobster, 2017’s The Killing of a Sacred Deer, 2018’s The Favourite, and 2023’s Poor Things, among other titles. He’s now working on a new movie titled Bugonia, which is a remake of 2003’s Save the Green Planet! Releasing in November 2025, Bugonia will once again star Stone and Plemons.
