An official The Accountant 2 release date has been set for the upcoming Ben Affleck action thriller movie sequel.
When is The Accountant 2 release date?
Amazon MGM Studios announced The Accountant 2 release date for April 25, 2025. The sequel will get a full theatrical release, just like the original movie. It arrives a week before Marvel’s Thunderbolts*. Joining Affleck is a cast featuring Jon Bernthal (The Punisher), J.K. Simmons (Whiplash), Cynthia Addai-Robinson (Spartacus), Daniella Pineda (Cowboy Bebop), Allison Robertson (Fear to be Brave), Robert Morgan (Babylon), and Grant Harvey (Emancipation).
“When her former boss is killed by unknown assassins, Treasury Agent Marybeth Medina (Addai-Robinson) is forced to contact Christian Wolff (Affleck) to solve the murder,” the logline reads. “With the help of his estranged but highly lethal brother Brax (Bernthal), Chris applies his brilliant mind and less-than-legal methods to piece together the unsolved puzzle. As they get closer to the truth, the trio draw the attention of some of the most ruthless killers alive—all intent on putting a stop to their search.”
