Kraven the Hunter MPA Rating Revealed for Aaron Taylor-Johnson Marvel Movie

The official Kraven the Hunter MPA rating for Sony Pictures’ newest Spider-Man spin-off movie has finally been revealed. It is scheduled to debut in theaters on December 13, 2024.

What is Kraven the Hunter’s MPA Rating?

The Motion Pictures Association has officially granted J.C. Chandor’s upcoming Kraven the Hunter movie an R-rating for “strong bloody violence, and language.” The film will be the final R-rated movie to debut this year following the releases of Marvel Studios’ Deadpool & Wolverine and Warner Bros.’ Joker: Folie à Deux.

Kraven the Hunter will feature Taylor-Johnson as he takes on the mantle of the titular Spider-Man villain, a Russian immigrant named Sergei Kravinoff. It is directed by Oscar nominee J.C. Chandor (A Most Violent Year) from a screenplay co-written by Richard Wenk (The Equalizer films), Matt Holloway, and Art Marcum. The film will also star Fred Hechinger (Fear Street Trilogy, The White Lotus) as Chameleon, Kraven’s half-brother; Oscar nominee Ariana DeBose (West Side Story) as Calypso, the occasion partner and lover of Kraven; and Russell Crowe and Levi Miller in undisclosed roles. Christopher Abbott and Alessandro Nivola have also been tapped as the main villains.
