Paramount Home Entertainment has announced A Quiet Place: Day One 4K, Blu-ray, and digital release dates for its latest installment to John Krasinski’s A Quiet Place franchise. This comes after a month since the film had made its theatrical debut. During its theatrical run, the film earned a worldwide gross of over $253 million at the box office.
“Experience the day the world went quiet in this terrifying continuation of the A Quiet Placeuniverse. When Samira returns home to New York City, her simple trip turns into a harrowing nightmare when mysterious creatures that hunt by sound attack,” reads the film’s official synopsis. “Accompanied by her cat Frodo and an unexpected ally, Samira must embark on a perilous journey through the city that has suddenly gone silent, where the only rule is to stay quiet to stay alive. Djimon Hounsou and Alex Wolff also star in this intensely suspenseful thriller.”
When is the A Quiet Place: Day One 4K, Blu-ray & Digital release date?
A Quiet Place: Day One will be available to rent or own on digital platforms starting tomorrow, Tuesday, July 30, 2024. It will then be available for purchase on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, DVD, and a collectible 4K Ultra HD SteelBook on Tuesday, October 8.
Both the digital and physical releases will include over 50 minutes of bonus content, which are listed below:

- Pizza at the End of the World—Hear from cast and crew about why a quest for pizza when the world is under attack poignantly speaks to our humanity.
- Deleted and Extended Scenes
Based on a story by John Krasinski, the film was directed by Michael Sarnoski, who is best known for his work in the critically acclaimed 2021 drama Pig. It stars Oscar winner Lupita Nyong’o as Sam, Stranger Things breakout Joseph Quinn as Eric, Hereditary’s Alex Wolff as Reuben, and Gladiator’s Djimon Hounsou as Henry. The latter previously appeared in 2020’s A Quiet Place Part II starring alongside Emily Blunt and Cillian Murphy.
