Warner Bros. Discovery has announced a digital and 4K UHD release date for Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga Black & Chrome Edition.
The Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga Black & Chrome Edition is a version of the theatrically released film directed by George Miller that removes the color and instead features a black and chrome aesthetic.
When will Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga Black & Chrome Edition be released?
The black and chrome version of Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga will be available for digital ownership on platforms such as Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, Google Play, and more, on August 13, 2024. It will then be available to purchase on 4K UHD on September 24, 2024.

Warner Bros. Discovery has also announced that a Mad Max five-film collection will also be available for digital ownership on platforms such as Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, Google Play, and more, on August 13, 2024. The Mad Max 5-Film 4K Collector’s Edition will then be available to purchase on September 24, 2024.
The film collection includes 1979’s Mad Max, 1981’s Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior, 1985’s Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome, 2015’s Mad Max: Fury Road, and 2024’s Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga, along with Mad Max: Fury Road Black & Chrome Edition and Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga Black & Chrome Edition.
“As the world fell, young Furiosa is snatched from the Green Place of Many Mothers and falls into the hands of a great Biker Horde led by the Warlord Dementus,” the synopsis for Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga reads. “Sweeping through the Wasteland, they come across the Citadel presided over by The Immortan Joe.
