What is Long Shadows about?

Long Shadows, billed as a story about “love and vengeance,” will center on Mulroney’s Dallas Garrett, an ex-outlaw gunslinger, “who serves as a mentor to a young man trying to find his way in the world.”

In a previous statement, courtesy of Deadline, the director revealed that he wanted to create “a nuanced milieu” for their film, complete with “a lush mosaic of tragic loss, retribution, with a second chance at life and love.”

He added, “Compassion is a timeless principle, and I’m proud that we crafted a meaningful story with the 1880s American West as a canvas that lifts this tender feeling.”

“When a young boy’s mother and father are savagely murdered, he ages out of an orphanage intent on revenge, but the love of a girl and psychological trauma lead him down a mystifying path,” reads the synopsis.

Tiki Tāne Pictures’ Shockley, Hines, Tom Brady, Allen Gilmer, Tiiu Loigu, and Justin Kreinbrink serve as the film’s producers, with Gilmer, Riki Rushing, and Matthew Shreder as executive producers.

No release date has been set yet for Long Shadows.
