Bad Boys: Ride or Die Digital Release Date Set for Will Smith Action Comedy

The Bad Boys: Ride or Die digital release date has been announced for fourth installment to Sony Pictures‘ long-running action comedy franchise. This comes after over a month since the film had made its theatrical debut.

“This Summer, the world’s favorite Bad Boys are back with their iconic mix of edge-of-your seat action and outrageous comedy but this time with a twist: Miami’s finest are now on the run,” reads the synopsis.

When is the Bad Boys: Ride or Die digital release date?

Per Collider, Bad Boys: Ride or Die will be available to rent or purchase on digital platforms starting next week on Tuesday, July 23. During its theatrical run, the sequel earned a worldwide gross of over $370 million at the box office against a reported budgert of around $100 million. Despite receiving mixed reviews from critics, the film remained a hit among moviegoers as it currently has a near-perfect Audience Score of 97% on Rotten Tomatoes, based on over 2,500 verified ratings.

Bad Boys: Ride or Die is once again being directed by Bad Boys for Life filmmaking duo Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah from a screenplay written by Chris Bremmer. Joining Will Smith and Martin Lawrence in the new movie are returning cast members Joe Pantoliano, Vanessa Hudgens, Alexander Ludwig, Paola Nunez, John Salley, Jacob Scipio and DJ Khaled.

Additional cast includes franchise newcomers Tiffany Haddish, Ioan Gruffudd, Rhea Seehorn, Joyner Lucas, Eric Dane, Melanie Liburd and Tasha Smith. It is executive produced by Lawrence, Barry Waldman, Mike Stenson, James Lassiter, Jon Mone and Chris Bremner, with Smith, Chad Oman, Jerry Bruckheimer and Doug Belgrad producing.
