The Scream Factory September 2024 lineup has been announced. It features Village of the Damned, The Strangers, Doomsday and more.
The Stepfather Collector’s Edition 4K UHD
Josh Ruben’s 1987 thriller focuses on a seemingly mild-mannered man – who has just murdered his entire family – who quickly adopts a new identity and leaves town. After building a new relationship with a widow and her teenage daughter, he struggles to hide his true identity and maintain a grip on reality.
The Strangers Collector’s Edition 4K UHD
Bryan Bertino’s 2008 home invasion horror gets the 4K treatment. After returning from a wedding reception, a couple staying in an isolated vacation house receives a knock on the door in the mid-hours of the night. What ensues is a violent invasion by three strangers, their faces hidden behind masks. The couple find themselves in a violent struggle, in which they go beyond what either of them thought capable in order to survive.
Village of the Damned (1995) Collector’s Edition 4K UHD
John Carpenter‘s remake of the sci-fi horror classic. An American village is visited by some unknown life form, which leaves the women of the village pregnant. Nine months later, the babies are born, and they all look normal, but it doesn’t take the “parents” long to realize that the kids are not human or humane.
