The Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire Max release date has been set, with Warner Bros. Discovery revealing when the monster movie will arrive in fans’ homes.
According to Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures, Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire will make its streaming debut on Max next week, on Thursday, July 4, 2024.
Alongside the news, Warner Bros. also revealed that a version of the film with American Sign Language (ASL) will also arrive on Max on the same day, with ASL performer Otis Jones of the Deaf West Theatre providing interpretation.

Legendary Pictures’ cinematic Monsterverse follows up the explosive showdown of Godzilla vs. Kong with an all-new adventure that pits the almighty Kong and the fearsome Godzilla against a colossal undiscovered threat hidden within our world, challenging their very existence—and our own,” the official synopsis reads. “Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire delves further into the histories of these Titans and their origins, as well as the mysteries of Skull Island and beyond, while uncovering the mythic battle that helped forge these extraordinary beings and tied them to humankind forever.”
Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire is directed by Adam Wingard. The screenplay was written by Terry Rossio, Simon Barrett, and Jeremy Slater.
The film stars Rebecca Hall as Dr. Ilene Andrews, Brian Tyree Henry as Bernie Hayes, Dan Stevens as Trapper, Kaylee Hottle as Jia, Alex Ferns as Mikael, Fala Chen as Iwi Queen, and Rachel House as Hampton.
Mary Parent, Alex Garcia, Eric Mcleod, Thomas Tull, and Brian Rogers produced Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire, while Wingard, Jen Conroy, Jay Ashenfelter, Yoshimitsu Banno, and Kenji Okuhira served as executive producers.
