Here Trailer Stars Tom Hanks & Robin Wright in New Robert Zemeckis Movie

Sony Pictures has released the trailer for Here, Robert Zemeckis’s upcoming drama starring Tom Hanks and Robin Wright.

In Here, the camera never moves as the film occurs in one location. Here spans multiple generations, with the main storyline revolving around the relationship between Hanks’s Richard and Wright’s Margaret. “Time sure does fly, doesn’t it,” Hanks says in the trailer.

What to expect in Here?

Here’s logline reads: “Here is an original film about multiple families and a special place they inhabit. The story travels through generations, capturing the human experience in its purest form.”

Hanks stars as Richard, a baby boomer who is 67 years old. However, the film travels back and forth in time, using de-aging techniques to depict Richard at different ages. Wright plays Margaret, Richard’s girlfriend and later wife. The couple eventually start a family and raise children in the house Richard grew up in.

It’s a reunion for Hanks and Wright, who starred in Zemeckis’s award-winning film, Forrest Gump. This also marks the sixth collaboration between Hanks and Zemeckis, who last worked together on 2022’s Pinocchio.

Here’s ensemble cast includes Paul Bettany, Kelly Reilly, Michelle Dockery, Gwilym Lee, David Fynn, Ophelia Lovibond, Nicholas Pinnock, Nikki Amuka-Bird, and Anya Marco Harris.

Zemeckis directs Here on a screenplay he co-wrote with Eric Roth. Here is based on the 2014 graphic novel by Richard McGuire, which was inspired by the comic strip he created in 1989. Producers include Zemeckis, Jack Rapke, Bill Block, and Derek Hogue.

Here opens in theaters on November 15, 2024.
