Lionsgate has officially set The Strangers: Chapter 1 4K, Blu-ray, and DVD release date for the recently released horror film.
When does The Strangers: Chapter 1 come out on 4K?
The Strangers: Chapter 1 4K, Blu-ray, and DVD release date has been set for July 23, 2024, when the film will be available in physical discs. A week before that, on July 16, the film will be released on EST/VOD services, giving folks a chance to watch the film early without a disc if they’d like.
The 4K release of the film will retail for $42.99, while the Blu-ray will cost $39.99 and DVD copies will cost $29.96. The movie will also come with a variety of special features on the home release, including:
- Audio Commentary with Producer Courtney Solomon and Actress Madelaine Petsch
- Reimagining a Classic: Making THE STRANGERS — CHAPTER 1

Released just last month, The Strangers: Chapter 1 serves as a remake of sorts of the original 2008 film. The movie was made to start off a relaunch of The Strangers film series, and kick off a standalone trilogy that will continue with a sequel set to be released later this year.
