The Ryan Gosling-produced I Used to Eat Brains, Now I Eat Kale zombie movie has landed at Amazon MGM Studios; although, whether or not Gosling will star in the film remains unclear at this time.
Earlier this month, Jeff Sneider’s The InSneider reported that Gosling was attached star in a new zombie movie called I Used to Eat Brains, Now I Eat Kale, which is based on a 42-page short story by twins Adam and Daniel Cooper.
Per Deadline, Amazon MGM has now acquired the rights to the film.
Ryan Gosling and Jessie Henderson are producing the film through General Admission, which has a first-look deal with the studio; however, according to Deadline, “there’s no truth to the assertion” that Gosling will star in the movie.
No casting announcements have yet been made and it’s unclear whether the Coopers will write the screenplay for the movie, meaning it’s possible that Gosling could still appear in the film once it has a script.
