Eight Lionsgate horror movies are getting SteelBook releases this coming August.
Bloody Disgusting is partnering with Lionsgate for a Bloody Disgusting Blu-ray SteelBook collection. All eight SteelBooks will be available to purchase at Walmart on August 20, 2024, for the suggested retail price of $24.99 each.
What Lionsgate horror movies are getting SteelBook releases?
The Bloody Disgusting Blu-ray SteelBook collection includes 2005’s Wolf Creek, 2007’s Hannibal Rising, 2010’s I Spit on Your Grave, 2011’s You’re Next, 2012’s Sinister, 2013’s Texas Chainsaw (also known as Texas Chainsaw 3D), and 2017’s Leatherface.
“Terror has never looked more frightening with The Bloody Disgusting Blu-ray SteelBook collection,” the collection’s official synopsis reads. “Available individually exclusively at Walmart, these eye-catching, specially commissioned collectible SteelBooks contain the following fan-favorite horror films: Wolf Creek, Leatherface, Sinister, Texas Chainsaw, You’re Next, I Spit on Your Grave, and Hannibal Rising. The Bloody Disgusting Blu-ray SteelBooks are available to preorder now on Blu-ray + Digital.”
Wolf Creek was directed by Greg McLean and stars John Jarratt, Nathan Phillips, and Cassandra Magrath, while Hannibal Rising comes from Peter Webber and stars Gaspard Ulliel, Rhys Ifans, and Richard Brake.
Sarah Butler, Jeff Granson, and Andrew Howard star in Steven R. Monroe’s I Spit on Your Grave, while Adam Wingard helmed You’re Next with Sharni Vinson, Nicholas Tucci, and Wendy Glenn.
Scott Derrickson’s Sinister was led by Ethan Hawke, Juliet Rylance, and Fred Thompson, while John Luessenhop’s Texas Chainsaw (the seventh installment in the Texas Chainsaw Massacre franchise) features Alexandra Daddario, Dan Yeager, and Tremaine “Trey Songz” Neverson.
Lastly, Leatherface, which is the eighth film in the franchise, was directed by Julien Maury and Alexandre Bustillo and stars Stephen Dorff, Lili Taylor, and Vanessa Grasse.
All eight SteelBooks will be available to purchase at Walmart on August 20, 2024, from Lionsgate.
