Monkey Man 4K, Blu-ray, and DVD Release Date Set for Dev Patel Movie

Following its digital release last April, Universal Pictures has officially set the Monkey Man 4K, Blu-ray, and DVD release dates for Dev Patel’s feature directorial debut. During its theatrical run, the action thriller film garnered a worldwide gross of over $30 million at the box office.

“Inspired by the legend of Hanuman, an icon embodying strength and courage, the film follows Kid, an anonymous young man who ekes out a meager living in an underground fight club where, night after night, wearing a gorilla mask, he is beaten bloody by more popular fighters for cash,” reads the official synopsis. “After years of suppressed rage, Kid discovers a way to infiltrate the enclave of the city’s sinister elite. As his childhood trauma boils over, his mysteriously scarred hands unleash an explosive campaign of retribution to settle the score with the men who took everything from him.”

When is the Monkey Man 4K, Blu-ray, and DVD release dates?

Monkey Man will be available to purchase on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD beginning on June 25, 2024. The physical release will also include exclusive bonus features, including deleted scenes. Prior to this, the film will receive its own Collector’s Edition on Digital on June 11, 2024, which will feature more than 55 minutes of all-new bonus features. In addition, the Jordan Peele-produced action thriller is currently scheduled to make its exclusive streaming debut on Peacock starting on June 14.

Monkey Man was directed and co-written by Dev Patel, who’s also serving as a producer alongside Oscar winner Jordan Peele.
