A 4K UHD, Blu-ray, and DVD, release date has been set for Alex Garland’s Civil War.
Civil War, which was released in United States theaters in April 2024, is coming to 4K UHD, Blu-ray, and DVD on July 9, 2024. The A24 film is also currently available to rent or purchase on digital platforms.

What is A24’s Civil War about?
“From filmmaker Alex Garland comes a journey across a dystopian future America, following a team of military-embedded journalists as they race against time to reach DC before rebel factions descend upon the White House,” the official synopsis reads.
Civil War stars Kirsten Dunst (Spider-Man, The Virgin Suicides), Cailee Spaeny (Priscilla, Bad Times at the El Royale), Nick Offerman (The Last of Us, Parks and Recreation), Jesse Plemons (Killers of the Flower Moon, The Power of the Dog), Steph McKinley Henderson (Dune, Lady Bird), and Wagner Moura (Narcos, Elite Squad). Gregory Goodman, Andrew Macdonald, and Allon Reich produced the film.

Civil War was written and directed by Garland, who previously made 2014’s Ex Machina, 2018’s Annihilation, and 2022’s Men. He also wrote the script for 28 Years Later, the upcoming Danny Boyle-directed film that serves as a sequel to 2002’s 28 Days Later (which Garland also wrote).
Civil War was a major financial success for A24, bringing in $113.2 million at the global box office off an estimated budget of $50 million. It received generally positive reviews from critics.
