Blumhouse has set a new The Woman in the Yard release date for its upcoming film starring Danielle Deadwyler.
After previously removing a planned release date of January 10, 2025, the movie will now open on March 28, 2025 (via Deadline). Any and all details on the film, including casting information and what to expect in the story, have been kept secretive for now.
The move came as Blumhouse also delayed the M3GAN 2.0 release date yet again, while also setting an official date for the Five Nights at Freddy’s sequel.
What do we know about The Woman in the Yard?
Aside from Deadwyler, the film will be directed by Jaume Collet-Serra. Both Collet-Serra and Deadwyler worked together on the recently release action thriller Carry On as well, making it a reunion for the pair.
Deadwyler is best known for her starring role in 2022’s Till, where she played the role of Emmett Till’s mother, Mamie Till. The actress has also starred in a handful of other projects, including work on the Starz series P-Valley, and the miniseries Station Eleven.
