Lacey Chabert, who’s best known for her iconic role as Gretchen Wieners in 2004’s Mean Girls, has officially been cast in Netflix’s newest holiday romantic comedy movie, Hot Frosty.
Chabert is set portray the role of a widow named Cathy, who finds herself falling in love with a snowman. The Party of Five vet is no stranger to the holiday romcom genre, as she has already appeared in over 30 Hallmark Christmas movies since 2010.
“Two years after losing her husband, Cathy magically brings a handsome snowman to life! Through his naïveté, the snowman helps Cathy to laugh, feel and love again, as the two fall for each other just in time for the holidays…and before he melts,” reads the officially logline.
