Netflix has released the trailer for the coming-of-age drama A Part of You, starring Felicia Maxime (Heartbeats), Edvin Ryding (Young Royals), and Zara Larsson. The Swedish film, set to hit the streamer on May 31, follows the sisterly bond between siblings that got upended when a tragedy changed their lives forever.
A Part of You will center on sisters Agnes and Julia. Julia has been Agnes’s source of support from the very start. She is also, however, the person Agnes envies the most. Julia seems to have everything, while Agnes remains the exact opposite of her sister. When an unforeseen tragedy separates them, Agnes — while on the verge of processing her pain — is slowly becoming the person she’s ever wanted: her sister Julia.
Per the official synopsis, A Part of You “is a story about life and death that portrays the experience of being 17 years old and feeling like your heart is about to burst from your chest. Agnes’ older sister Julia possesses everything that Agnes dreams of: she’s the coolest person in school, the center of every party, and she’s dating Noel. If only Agnes could be more like her. When the worst possible thing occurs, Agnes’ world is turned upside down and she’s forced to reinvent herself. Suddenly, she’s on the verge of obtaining everything she’s ever desired, but at what cost?”

Who are the creatives behind A Part of You?
The upcoming Netflix drama is directed by Sigge Eklund, based on a script written by Michaela Hamilton. Eklund also served as one of the film’s producers alongside Stefan H. Lindén and Alexandra Thönnersten. Tim King is the film’s executive producer.
