According to Deadline, Sam Rockwell (Argylle), Zazie Beetz (Deadpool 2), Michael Peña (Ant-Man), Juno Temple (Ted Lasso), and Haley Lu Richardson (The White Lotus) are set to star in the upcoming action adventure film Good Luck, Have Fun, Don’t Die.
After playing a spy in Matthew Vaughn’s most recent action comedy movie, Rockwell is now slated to portray a man from the future who’s tasked to save the world. “He arrives at a diner in Los Angeles where he must recruit the precise combination of eclectic patrons to join in him on a one-night quest to save the world,” reads the synopsis.
Who’s involved in Good Luck, Have Fun, Don’t Die?
Good Luck, Have Fun, Don’t Die hails from Oscar-winning filmmaker Gore Verbinski (Pirates of the Caribbean) from a screenplay written by Love & Monsters scribe Matthew Robinson. The film will be executive produced by Robinson, Oliver Berben, Michael Rothstein, Samuel Hall, and George Parra, with Robert Kulzer, Denise Chaian, Erwin Stoff and Oly Obst serving as producers. It is a production by Constantin Film.
Besides the upcoming adventure movie, Rockwell will next be seen in another one of Matthew Vaughn’s spy action movie Project X with Chris Hemsworth. Meanwhile, Beetz will reprise her role as Sophie Dumond in the upcoming DC sequel Joker: Folie à Deux. As for Temple and Peña, they each have a project lined up for this year, Venom: The Last Dance and Unstoppable, respectively.
Production has already begun in South Africa.
