The Crow & Saw XI Release Dates Delayed by Lionsgate

Lionsgate has delayed the release dates of The Crow and Saw XI.

The Crow, a remake of the 1994 superhero film, moves from June 7, 2024, to August 23, 2024. Saw XI, the 11th chapter in the horror franchise, has been pushed back an entire year, from September 27, 2024, to September 26, 2025.

Lionsgate also adjusted the release dates of Never Let Go and The Best Christmas Pageant Ever. Never Let Go, Alexandre Aja’s horror starring Halle Berry, takes Saw XI’s original date of September 27, 2024. Meanwhile, The Best Christmas Pageant Ever moves up one week to November 8, 2024.

Lionsgate announced the changes ahead of its CinemaCon presentation.

What to Expect in The Crow And Saw XI?

The Crow stars Bill Skarsgård as Eric Draven, a musician who is murdered alongside his fiancée, Shelly Webster (FKA Twigs). Eric is resurrected as The Crow, a vigilante hellbent on revenge as he hunts down the killers who ended his life.

Isabella Wei, Laura Birn, Sami Bouajila, Jordan Bolger, and Danny Huston also star. Rupert Sanders directs The Crow from a script by Zach Baylin and Will Schneider.

Saw XI was greenlit after the success of 2023’s Saw X. Serving as a sequel to Saw and prequel to Saw II, Saw X was a hit critically and financially, grossing over $111 million worldwide on a $13 million budget. Kevin Greutert, who directed Saw X, is scheduled to return to direct Saw XI.
