Per Deadline, Apple Studios’ upcoming dark comedy movie Outcome has officially welcomed six more cast members to its star-studded lineup, which will be led by John Wick star Keanu Reeves.
David Spade (The Wrong Missy), Laverne Cox (Orange Is the New Black), Kaia Gerber (Palm Royale), Susan Lucci (All My Children), Roy Wood Jr. (The Daily Show) and Atsuko Okatsuka (The Intruder) have been cast in Jonah Hill’s next directorial project. In addition to Reeves, they will also be joining previously announced cast members Hill, Cameron Diaz and Matt Bomer.
What is Outcome about?
“The story follows Reef (Reeves), a damaged Hollywood star who must dive into the dark depths of his past to confront his demons and make amends after he is extorted with a mysterious video clip,” reads the synopsis.
Outcome will be directed by actor-director Jonah Hill from a screenplay he co-wrote with Ezra Woods. It is being production by Hill, Matt Dines and Ali Goodwin for Strong Baby. The upcoming dark comedy isn’t the only movie that Hill is currently working with Apple Original Films, as he’s also producing and starring in an untitled Grateful Dead biopic which will be directed by Martin Scorsese.
