Robert Pattinson has signed on to produce How To Save A Marriage, a new movie written by Ross Evans, for Sony Pictures.
Per Deadline, Sony Pictures has acquired Evans’ spec script for How To Save a Marriage. Pattinson has signed on to produce the project and could potentially star in the movie.
“Sources close to the studio hope that it can be developed as a potential star vehicle [for Pattinson] down the road,” Deadline’s article reads. It also notes, “Insiders add what got Sony so interested in the package is how hands-on [Pattinson] wanted to be as the project was being developed.”
Plot details remain under wraps at this time, as the project is still considered to be in early development.
Evans will also executive produce How To Save A Marriage.
What movies has Robert Pattinson been in?
In the realm of producing, Pattinson has so far only served as an executive producer on Remember Me, a 2010 movie directed by Allen Coulter that which he starred in alongside Emilie de Ravin.
Pattinson got his start in Hollywood by playing Cedric Diggory in the Harry Potter franchise and Edward Cullen in the Twilight films. Following the conclusion of the Twilight series, he went on to star in titles such as 2016’s The Lost City of Z, 2017’s Good Time, 2018’s High Life, 2019’s The Lighthouse, and 2020’s Tenet, among other titles.
He also played Bruce Wayne in Matt Reeves’ The Batman, which was released in 2022, and will soon reprise his role in the upcoming sequel, which releases in 2025.
Additionally, Pattinson voiced The Grey Heron in the English dub of Hayao Miyazaki’s Oscar-winning The Boy and the Heron. He’ll next be seen in Mickey 17, the latest sci-fi movie from Parasite’s Bong Joon-ho that also stars Steven Yeun, Naomi Ackie, Toni Collette, and Mark Ruffalo. Mickey 17 releases in the United States on January 31, 2025, from Warner Bros. Pictures.
