As filming continues on A Complete Unknown, new set photos and video from the New York City production of Searchlight Pictures upcoming Bob Dylan biopic have surfaced online.
The A Complete Unknown set photos and video feature a much better look at Timothée Chalamet’s highly-anticipated transformation as Bob Dylan. At the moment, the studio has yet to announced the release date for the musical biographical drama.
Who’s the cast of A Complete Unknown?
A Complete Unknown is being directed by James Mangold from a screenplay he co-wrote with Jay Cocks based on author Elijah Wald’s book titled Dylan Goes Electric. The film will chronicle Bob Dylan’s rise in folk music and sudden transition to rock ‘n’ roll. The studio also has the rights to the Pop Culture icon’s music.
The film also stars Elle Fanning as Sylvie Russo, Monica Barbaro as Joan Baez, Edward Norton as Pete Seeger, Boyd Holbrook as Johnny Cash, Nick Offerman as Alan Lomax, and P.J. Byrne as Harold Leventhal. It is executive produced by Dylan along with Brian Kavanaugh-Jones and Andrew Rona. Jeff Rosen, who is Dylan’s longtime manager, has also signed on as a producer with Mangold, Veritas Entertainment Group’s Bob Bookman, Alan Gasmer, and Peter Jaysen, Automatik’s Fred Berger, and The Picture Company’s Alex Heineman also set to produce.
