Prime Video has announced that Simone Ashley (Sex Education, Bridgerton) and Hero Fiennes Tiffin (After franchise) have been tapped to lead the upcoming romantic comedy movie Picture This.
Ashley is set to portray a young single woman named Pia who goes on five different blind dates in hopes of meeting the love of her life. The ensemble cast will also include Phil Dunster, Nikesh Patel, Adil Ray, Sindhu Vee, Anoushka Chadha, Kulvinder Ghir, and Luke Fetherston. The project is currently in post-production.

“Single and without a man on the horizon, Pia runs a failing photography studio in London with her best friend Jay,” reads the synopsis (via Deadline). “As her sister Sonal prepares to get married and her mother Laxmi urges the resolutely independent Pia to partner up, a spiritual guru at Sonal’s engagement party predicts Pia will meet the love of her life among the next five dates she goes on. As her family intervene, setting her up on a series of increasingly desperate blind dates, Pia begins a hilarious but heartfelt quest for real love.”
Picture This is directed by Prarthana Mohan from a screenplay written by Nikita Lalwani, based on the recent Australian movie Five Blind Dates. The film is produced by Ben Pugh and Erica Steinberg, with Josh Horsfield and Kari Hatfield executive producing.
