The Kinds of Kindness release date has been set for the next movie from Emma Stone and Yorgos Lanthimos, who have worked together more than once.
A press release from Disney has revealed that the Kinds of Kindness release date is now set for June 21, 2024, putting the Searchlight Pictures anthology film‘s premiere date at just over three months away.
In addition to Stone, Kinds of Kindness also stars Jesse Plemons, Willem Dafoe, Margaret Qualley, Hong Chau, Joe Alwyn, Mamoudou Athie, and Hunter Schafer. It was written by Lanthimos and Efthimis Filippou.
What was Emma Stone and Yorgos Lanthimos’ most recent project?
Stone and Lanthimos most recently worked together on 2023’s Poor Things, which also starred Mark Ruffalo, Willem Dafoe, Ramy Youssef, Christopher Abbot, Suzy Bemba, Jerrod Carmichael, Kathryn Hunter, Vicki Pepperdine, Margaret Qualley, and Hanna Schygulla. The film won four Academy Awards, with Stone taking home the Oscar for Best Actress.
Even outside of Poor Things and Kinds of Kindness, Stone and Lanthimos previously worked together on the 2018 film The Favourite and the 2022 short film Bleat. Apparently, as was reported towards the end of February, the duo could be reuniting again for the upcoming remake of 2003’s Save the Green Planet.
