Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey 2 Unveils New Gory Photos

New stills from Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey 2 have been unveiled (via BloodyDisgusting), showcasing macabre scenes from Rhys Frake-Waterfield’s slasher sequel.

The director previously promised to bring a “bigger and badder” sequel to the horror reimagination of the beloved character. True enough, the three new photographs so far promise a gruesome affair, with two characters totally disfigured. You can check it out down below:

The horror sequel is scheduled to hit theaters nationwide starting March 26 through 28, playing for only three days. Tickets for the upcoming film can be purchased at Fathom Events’ website.

The first installment, which hit limited theaters on February 13, 2023, was made on a shoestring budget. With the budget no longer an issue (the first film earned $5.2 million at the box office), the sequel is poised to give the characters a more detailed and realistic look as well as a “bigger and badder” sequel like the director promised.

What is Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey 2 about?

Written by Summer of 84’s scribe Matt Leslie, Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey 2 will star Tallulah Evans, Scott Chambers, Ryan Oliva, and Peter DeSouza-Feighoney. The film will follow the grotesque titular character and the rest of his friends — which include Owl and Tigger — as they leave 100 Acre Wood to spread mayhem in the calm and quiet town of Ashdown.

The official synopsis reads as follows: “Deep within the 100-Acre-Wood, a destructive rage grows as Winnie-the-Pooh, Piglet, Owl, and Tigger find their home and their lives endangered after Christopher Robin revealed their existence. Not wanting to live in the shadows any longer, the group decides to take the fight to the town of Ashdown, home of Christopher Robin, leaving a bloody trail of death and mayhem in their wake. Winnie and his savage friends will show everyone that they are deadlier, stronger, and smarter than anyone could ever imagine and get their revenge on Christopher Robin, once and for all.”
