The hit 2006 crime thriller The Departed is getting a 4K UHD and Blu-ray release, bringing the classic Martin Scorsese film to fans in stunning quality.
The film will be available to purchase on 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray beginning on April 23, 2024. Alongside the physical release, the film’s 4K version will also be available to be purchased on Amazon Prime Video, AppleTV, Google Play, Vudu and more beginning on that date as well.
The Departed will release with collectible Steelbook packaging, and will retail for $40.41. A separate, UHD/Blu-ray release will also be available for $33.99, and will include the same contents of the Steelbook, just without the special packaging.

Originally released in 2006, The Departed is a remake of the 2002 Hong Kong film Infernal Affairs, and featured a star-studded cast that included Leonardo DiCaprio, Matt Damon, Jack Nicholson, Mark Wahlberg, Martin Sheen, Ray Winstone, Vera Farmiga, Alec Baldwin, Anthony Anderson, and James Badge Dale.
The film was a massive success at its release, and took home four Oscars at the 79th Academy Awards, including Best Picture, Best Director, Best Adapted Screenplay, and Best Film Editing.
